Technology
Three sensors in the front will scan and analyze your environment. If there are any obstacles on your path, a subtle virbration or beep will warn you. 3D-radar and optically enhanced navigation support.
Hardware
PhombiWalk is made of a high-quality magnesium casing that houses the sensors and optionally an additional battery pack. In the top there are two radar-sensors for 3D-profiles and a wide-angle camera. Just click your smartphone into PhombieWalk and hold it in your palm.
The radar works similar to your car parking sensors. Obstacles in your way can be signalled by subtle vibrations, sound or visuals on the display.
Software
The accompanying PhombieWalk app (available for iOs, Android and Windows10) gives full control over calibrating the sensors to your individual user habits. The preferred holding angle and your walking speed can be adjusted.
While using your navigation system, a floating window with a live picture ahead of you can be displayed (Android only).
